Dashain is the most significant and deeply religious festival celebrated in Nepal. Also known as Dussehra in India, it symbolized the triumph of good over evil. In Nepal, Dashain, or Vijaya Dashami, is celebrated for around 15 days. It has an ancient history deeply rooted in Hindu mythology, Nepalese tradition, and history.
